3 Must-Know ChatGPT Tools For Marketers

This week's issue is proudly sponsored by 2POINT, more on them at the end.

Read Time: 3 Minutes

Before we get into today's issue I just want to say, I feel your pain.

I've seen non-stop ChatGPT related content for the last month.

Giant "how-to" lists and "prompt" suggestions.

It's gotten really old.

I've basically avoided creating content around this topic for that reason.

BUT...

I've seen one too many fluff posts about "31 must know blah blah blah"

I'm a Marketer. I have very specific needs & not a lot of time to waste sifting through these lists.

I've pulled out the 3 free tools that are by far the most valuable use cases I've seen.

These will actually help you be a better marketer & will apply to 99% of you.

I promise not to waste your time.

3 Must-Know ChatGPT Tools For Marketers

These tools are the top 3 that have literally seeped into my daily workflow.

I haven't met a marketer who didn't love these.

Let's dig in.

ChatGPT for Google

Some people have referred to ChatGPT as the "Google Killer"

While I understand the sentiment, it's clear that GPT-3 is not sophisticated enough to replace Google Search entirely.

But, what if you could get the best of both worlds?

ChatGPT for Google enables ChatGPT directly on the SERP of Google.

Meaning every time you search anything in Google, a ChatGPT response to the same query will appear on the right side of the search results.

This is insanely valuable.

Sometimes you may choose to view the Google results.

Sometimes you may choose to view the ChatGPT results.

But now, you have the option.

Rather than jumping between multiple windows or deciding before searching which you want to use...

You can use BOTH every time.

If you don't immediately see the appeal for this one, just download it and see for yourself.

ChatGPT for Google Sheets

This was actually the first serious use-case I had for ChatGPT.

Shoutout to Elliott Davidson on LinkedIn for sharing this in the early GPT days.

ChatGPT for Google Sheets allows you to call ChatGPT prompts in bulk directly in Google Sheets cells.

Here are some great examples of how you might use this:

  • Generate 1000s of eCommerce product descriptions in seconds
  • Generate 1000s of article headlines (based on keywords) in seconds
  • Generate 1000s of social media post concepts in seconds
  • Any other bulk prompting including (text, math, code, logic, etc.)

The possibilities here are endless, but I've personally used it as an idea factory.

Simply drop a list of "topics" into Column A & prompt GPT to fill Column B with content "ideas"

This generates 100s of possible content concepts in seconds.

Mind = Blown

AIPRM for ChatGPT

This is by-far the most powerful ChatGPT addon for Marketers.

I have yet to see anything that even comes close.

AIPRM has built over 340 purpose-driven prompts into 1-click templates within the ChatGPT UI.

This means you never need to type a prompt, copy/paste, search for prompts, etc.

They've tested hundreds of possibilities and have crafted the best possible prompts into 1-click options.

This. Tool. Is. Insane.

Here are just a few things you can do with it:

  • Create a table of keywords based on a pillar of content you want to write.
  • Create meta-titles & meta-descriptions for content in bulk
  • Expand a keyword into hundreds of adjacent keywords
  • Write YouTube scripts + headlines + descriptions
  • Do an SEO audit on any webpage in 1-click
  • Generate full carousel concepts in 1-click
  • Write an SEO optimized article in 1-click
  • Create a 6 month SEO plan in 1-click
  • Create a content calendar in 1-click
  • Write a course in 1-click
  • Write a book in 1-click

If this list alone doesn't get you excited I don't know what will.

There are 333 more possibilities built into this tool that I haven't even listed here.

All of them empower Marketers to create incredible content quickly.

Read Time: 3 Minutes A life lesson from my Dad When I was 9 my Dad and I stopped at a Chick-fil-A in my hometown for lunch. He's a land surveyor, and there was a big project with a tight deadline coming up. So we'd spent all Saturday morning at the office as he chaotically tried to wrap this project up. I (not paying much attention) had a great morning playing on my Gameboy in the corner. While we weren't a poor family, we were not rolling in cash either. We counted money carefully. Going out...

Read Time: 2.5 Minutes New Year, Old Me? Marketing is one of the most distracting professions. There are always new platforms, new strategies, new opportunities, etc. It's so easy to get caught up chasing trends and whatever the "new thing" is. The problem is this causes marketing teams to make the wrong decisions while chasing shiny objects. The grass isn't greener. So as we go into 2024, this is your reminder that most businesses don't need to reinvent the wheel this year. Often if you have...

Read Time: 4 Minutes Storytelling ... it's a forgotten art. Almost everyone knows what storytelling is. They even say they believe in it. "Storytelling is the most effective way to market a company" "Marketers are storytellers" "Storytelling is the most authentic form of content" You've probably heard statements like this 1000x times, just like I have. The problem is most people don't know how to tell stories. Just like me. But, with thousands of hours in reading, podcasting, leading...
